Sigrid Freese -
While Denver was kind of gloomy yesterday, Roxborough state Park was basking in the sun. Ann Groshek and I walked just two miles, but about 10 others climbed Carpenter Peak. Another week and the gambel oak should be very colorful...right now the vegetation in park is still mostly green, except for the poison ivy which is quite red!. As Ann and I drove back into Denver, we could see the cloud/mist/fog/haze/smog, whatever it was just hanging over the city. And wasn't the rain late in the day just what we needed! |
