Upholstery
Dave Tole at Tole House Cane and Rush: 35 E. Iliff (just off Broadway) 303 778-8571. Very simple place, very prompt and not expensive. I've had several different types of chairs done by him, including an antique chair restored. Nice guy and good results.

I know a great guy, David Plym who owns the Tole House at 35 E Iliff Ave (Illif and S. Broadway) ... phone is 303-778-8571. They are "Restoration Specialists and Suppliers in Cane, Rush and Splint." A great guy who also does really excellent furniture building/restoration and very affordable. I highly recommend him. Betsy Jones
I am getting two chairs reupholstered at Custom Furnishings - 4999 Jackson St. I took the chairs in yesterday and Alan (my contact there) is forwarding prices on to the lady that I am working with so I'm not sure just how reasonable they are; however, my contact said they are amazing and "reasonable"...will let you know what they say. It may be worth a shot to take the fabric and pieces there and have him quote you on the spot. It's a dive of a place but nice folks. Janine Shea
Tom's Upholstery on the main street of Morrison. Sent Patty Shelton there and she was pleased. Ask for Dave. Drop my name. Mary Meinig
Alert: Avoid Custom Upholstery by Cipriano. He did great work (though not very timely) for me on 3 things last fall, but still has several hundred of my dollars along with my 2 pieces of furniture. He left his place of business suddenly -stiffed the owner, from what she said. Wheatridge Police Department found him (multiple reports apparently) and officer said Garcia Cipriano had moved, and was now contacting customers. I am to report to Wheatridge PD in case I ever get my items. I left them on Nov 20, 2011 and of course, paid for the fabric upfront. He never returned phone calls or answered email. Gina Guy 02/2012

Antique Furniture Appraisal
When we moved from Pond Rd 3 yrs ago, I had our antique furniture assessed. Carolyn Power of Power Estate Sale was impressive: knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Don't know if she would do silver, but if not, she will know someone who does, because she holds scheduled estate sales including many household effects.
